Hypatia taught mathematics, astronomy and Neoplatonism in Alexandria until a Christian mob killed her. The library's decline is usually dated from around then.

One of the few women the ancient record could not erase, and nearly did. The whole range: tees, women's tees, sweatshirts and hoodies, printed to order as you buy them. She taught the heavens. They killed her for it.
